"HILARIOUS, INGENIOUS, UNCANNY, UNMISSABLE!"

ZACHARY WOOLFE, THE NEW YORK TIMES

"JUDYCAST ISN'T JUST A PODCAST. IT'S A BREATHTAKING, HILARIOUS, AND, POST-MODERN WORK OF ART. EACH EPISODE HAS MORE ALLUSIONS THAN T.S. ELIOT DARED IN THE WASTE LAND AND IT'S A LOT MORE FUN TO PICK APART."

JONATHAN TOLINS, PLAYWRIGHT, SCREENWRITER

JudyCast with Frances Gumm is a surreal comedy and variety show "hosted" by Judy Garland.  Judy attempts to share her views on pop culture while her co-host Roger Darling tries to interject some rationality. Recurring panelists include Carol Channing, Bernadette Peters, Gollum (Lord of the Rings), and Pia Zadora, with visits from guest stars such as Daniel Radcliffe, Lauren Bacall, Gwen Verdon, Patti LuPone, Katharine Hepburn, and others.

The show is all the work of one guy who's been doing this since 2005. At the time, JudyCast was one of the first podcasts with a queer perspective. Seriously, there were, like, 9 other shows.

WITH FRANCES GUMM

JudyCast with Frances Gumm is a surreal variety show "hosted" by Judy Garland.  Judy attempts to share her views on pop culture while her co-host Roger Darling tries to interject some rationality.

Begun in 2005, JudyCast  (Then, The Entertainment Beat with Frances Gumm), was one of the first podcasts with a queer perspective. Seriously, there were like 10 of us.

"SHARP, WONDERFULLY DETAILED, CLEVER, FUN, EXPERIMENTAL, ARTISTIC, CHALLENGING. JUDY'S WIT, SINCERITY AND VULNERABILITY ARE PLACED IN A WACKY SURREALISTIC CONTEXT THAT IS EDGY BUT NEVER CRUEL."

CHARLES BUSCH, PLAYWRIGHT, ACTOR, DRAG LEGEND

"WHEN I THINK THAT ONE PERSON VOICES ALL OF THESE LIVING, BREATHING, THINKING, FEELING PEOPLE, I ADMIT I GET A BIT OVERWHELMED.  EVERY TIME I LISTEN TO JUDYCAST, I'M SWEPT INTO AN ALTERNATE REALITY AND WANT TO STAY THERE. NOTHING SHORT OF (PARDON THE PUN) GENIUS."

GREGORY J. POLCYN, PARCAST HOST, PERFORMER, WRITER

"IT'S NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DESCRIBE THIS PODCAST. IT'S MUCH MORE THAN A MERE IMPERSONATION OF SOME ICONIC STARS OF STAGE AND SCREEN - IT'S AN ART FORM ALL ITS OWN."

ROBERT BULLEN, THE HUFFINGTON POST

"JUDYCAST IS CUTTING EDGE STUFF

-- SUPER SMART, AND IN ITS OWN WAY, MERRILY TRANSGRESSIVE."
